2025 edition of 'Stop Thinking Like a Freelancer'

Hey - just a quick update from me. I have been a bit 'stop start' with the 10 year edition of 'Stop Thinking Like a Freelancer' but it's getting close now and you'll get a copy for free if you bought the original.

Truth be told I'm having a hard time resisting the urge to change it completely and turn it into a sequel.

The information in the book is still solid; it's just 10 years on my current experience is about running an agency, not managing a company of one.

There are similarities of course, and my 2014 self was bang on the money in that even as a company of one there is huge value in creating structures, processes and systems that would make a 10 or 20 person company envious

To scratch that itch and to split the projects up I am going to be starting a podcast 'Solo to Studio' which will focus on content and guidance more appropriate to my current experience.

But I need your help. Some key questions if you're able to answer that might help steer the content and positioning for both the book and the podcast:

• Do you see AI as a threat or an opportunity?

• How have you seen freelancing change over the years?

• Is the biggest challenge still finding new clients to work with?

• If you could fix one thing in your business that you think would give the maximum return what would that be?

• What stood out from your memory of the book last time around?
